Youth-led research on access to health services

In the fight for equal access to health services for young people with disabilities, interesting Youth-led research (YLR) was conducted in 2023 in Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, and Uganda. The research was carried out by the Regional Youth with Disabilities Council, established by the Liliane Fonds as part of the Make Way programme. International Youth Day: Helping young people realise their SRHR

For today’s International Youth Day, we are the celebrating the crucial role that young people play in the Make Way programme. We interviewed three Make Way youth representatives Bertha Chulu, Elizabeth Warindi and Vilda Atieno to hear their thoughts on the key issues that prevent young people from realising their SRHR. With this year’s theme all about digital innovations, we also dive into the digital tools and platforms that the youth representatives utilise to improve SRHR for all.
